The first time a Star Wars show hit the streaming service, there were all kinds of cameos in The Mandalorian. Those cameos were topped off when Luke Skywalker even made a surprise appearance in the season 2’s final episode. Of course, there were also some smaller surprises like “Baby Yoda” making an appearance very early on. For those who are worried there won’t be a “wow” factor on that level in The Book of Boba Fett, Morrison wants to make sure people know that big things are coming later in the season.

During a joint appearance with The Hollywood Reporter, Morrison (who plays Boba Fett) and Ming-Na Wen (who plays Fennec Shand) met to talk about the Disney Plus show. In that interview Morrison had to be stopped by Wen from spilling the beans about what’s coming in “Chapter 7” on February 9. However, Morrison did quip that The Book of Boba Fett will have plenty of surprises as the season goes along. He then added that they’ve got some really good things coming up. And then he said, “just wait until Episode 7, wow!”

It shouldn’t really be a surprise that The Book of Boba Fett might have some cameos planned for later in the season. There’s already been a few characters who have shown up and even made their first live-action Star Wars universe appearance. The big question is just how deep a dive might whoever is coming next might be, and whether it will be someone who is easily identifiable for viewers or someone who is going to have a lot more importance to those who have studied the lore and canon behind the movies, television shows, comics, and books.

This isn’t the first time that Morrison has made it clear that there’s going to be some interesting “surprises” for viewers as The Book of Boba Fett season continues on. He’s even said that whoever does show up later in the season will absolutely be on par with Grogu. In fact, he’s joked about the fact that his biggest worry is that these cameos are going to steal the show.

The Book of Boba Fett currently airs new episodes every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
