Research Tasks are obtained via PokeStops, each holding one specific mission per day. This has often become the best way for Pokémon Go players to receive Pokémon with high stats and the candy needed to evolve/power them up.
The Research Breakthrough also holds a new Pokémon for trainers who achieve seven days of completing a mission. While February included Woobat, March will see the Grass and Steel-type Pokémon, Ferroseed available to catch.
Ferroseed evolves into Ferrothorn whose battle prowess Pokémon Go trainers will want to try and harness in PVP and Gym Battles.
Starting March 1 at 4 p.m. EST to Wednesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. EST, Ferroseed will continue to be the Research Breakthrough Pokémon. Be sure to try and get as many as you can before another Pokémon takes its place in April.
