In order to emphasize the excitement for The Crew 2’s release date, Ubisoft also put out a brand new gameplay trailer in celebration of the title and gamescom 2017, which can be found directly below. Interested fans can watch the clip and get a glimpse at a handful of the different vehicles that will be featured in the racing game, whether it be apparatuses designed for speed by land, sea, or air.
In addition to the fresh gameplay trailer and the announcement of The Crew 2’s release date, Ubisoft also divulged that there will be a standard, deluxe, and Gold edition. While there will be different versions of the title available at launch, those who pre-order any of them will get the Legendary Motors Pack, which includes the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Touring Car 2016 and the Harley-Davidson Iron 883 2017.
The deluxe edition for The Crew 2 will set gamers back $70, and it includes all of the aforementioned vehicles, as well as the Motorsports Deluxe Pack, which comes with the Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck 2017, the Abarth 500 2008 Monster Truck Edition, the Pilatus PC-21 aerobatics plane, and three character outfits. The Gold edition is priced $100 digitally and $110 for a physical version, and it includes the season pass, and both of the previously detailed packs, with the retail iteration also coming with a steelbook.
Those who want to give The Crew 2 a go before its official release date would do well to sign up for the beta right here, but it’s important to note that Ubisoft has not set an exact time as to when the trial will begin. With other Ubisoft games that have similarly huge budgets like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Far Cry 5, and South Park: The Fractured But Whole set to drop within the same financial year, it looks as if the company is still trying to get all of its ducks in a row before it nails down a date for The Crew 2’s beta.
The Crew 2 is scheduled to release on March 16, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
